Mental Health

People with mental health problems have legal difficulties which are sometimes compounded by their illness and, as a result, they often do not get the legal help that they need. We have experience in providing legal advice and representation to people with mental health problems.

We regularly appear at Mental Health Tribunals in relation to Short Term Detentions and Compulsory Treatment Orders and are happy to attend hospital to meet with you or your advocacy worker.

We provide advice and representation which is appropriate for the needs of individual clients.

We are also registered with the Scottish Legal Aid Board should you qualify for Advice and Assistance or Full Legal Aid.
